Wheelhouse Community Bike Shop

Wheelhouse Community Bike Shop reached out asking for a poster that highlights both a bicycle mechanics class and a smart cycling class. The mechanics class was designed by Park Tool but hosted by Wheelhouse and the smart cycling class was created by the League of American Bicyclists and hosted by Wheelhouse. Since there were two different class offerings hosted by the same bicycle advocacy group, splitting the page in half by the use of color highlighted each class while keeping hierarchy for the Wheelhouse logo. Each side used the same color palette, shapes and designs as their current brand offers but tying that into a poster that serves each specific program as well. As this poster is overfilling with information per the client’s request, justifying the text and organization through color helped the information be clear to the viewer and not over intimidating for a person passing by. Overall this poster demonstrates how I expanded on multiple brands that already have a uniform system, how I organized overflowing information, and how I was able to create one poster highlighting five different entities (i.e., Park Tool School, Bicycle Mechanics Class, The League of American Bicyclists, Smart Cycling Program, and Wheelhouse Bike Community).
